crazy quilt exchange

I am doing a crazy quilt block exchange..with people from all over the world..europe Australia, etc. We just had to amke a plain crazy quilt block and send them to one person, who then exchanged it for some ones elses. I got two from New Zeland and one from Kansas, Then I have to embellish 1/2 of the block, then it gets sent back to the person who made the block for them to finish..I have had a blast, trying to figure out what to put on it. Here is a pic of the first one I did. working on the second one now.. Crazy Quilters will make all kinds of things out of their blocks, like purses, scrapebook covers, wall hangings, yes and even quilts (probally not will all the extras, mostly embrodering)..let me know your thoughts on my first one... Here is my second block...

camper woos

Last weekend My sister Lori and I had to change the tires on the tires on the popup camper..What a delimia...It took us an hour to get the first tire off, we had to dig a hole under the tire and good thing it was allready flat...Then the tires Lori got were not the right ones, so we had to get new ones...then we could not get the new ones on...no matter what we did, it would not fit...then a neighbor came over after we made a 911 call...and told us the cap on the hub came off...due to some rinkky dinkky set up the last owners did...LOL..whalla only took 10 minutes to change the other one...LOL...wish we had known this last summer in the middle on Montana on a 90+ degree day, when we blew a tire...thank goodness for Cowboys..heheheheh....that trip is a long story and calls for an entire blog...LOL..first pic is of what not to do and the second is the correct way....we now have pictures of the correct way, sad thing is the camper will probally fall apart before we need new tires again...
