I have joined a kitty kitty round robin. We are to make a block about kitty's..LOL..what a fun idea. I used some colors that I have not used before. Will be fun to see it whenit comes back.

I finally worked on Leona's block for the Uniron gourp-Fairy tale round robin. I added Toto...Hope he likes living there..LOL.

Pictures of my sewing work area

Here is a few pictures of the sewing work area. The two tables form an L shape. I have also storage shelves in the closest I did not take a picture of. the white dresser has my boxes of silks, and special fabric all ready cut up and sorted by color. The shelf above the TV holds all my goodies, threads, Lace, beads, and other neat stuff. You can see the beautiful orential bag that I swaped for in a swap I did with my CQNewbie friends... Now just to find the time to work in here...LOL...

Here is a pic of the lastest goodies I got from Ati in Norway.. The fabric is very beautiful, full of spring colors. I just love the bird fabric and the motifs she sent, not to forget the beautiful siggy print. thanks so much Ati for beign my international sister.

Your Choice Round robin

Here is a pic of the lastest round robin block that I worked on. As these blocks progress they are becoming so beautiful...pictures don't due them justice, you really have to see them in person.
I added the saying "Ravishing red-Hat Lady". The theme for this block was Red-Hat Ladies. This has been such a fun round robin to work on. This block belongs to Jenny A.

This block will be a purse for JK. It is so neat, my daughter just loved it..

I added the hat box and Paris, with the trim on top of it.

Fairy Tale Round Robin

Here is my latest creation for a fairy tale round robin. I used the story of Rapunzel. It will travel around the world and back to me in about 8 months. Several crazy quilters will work on the piece. I will be framing this as a picture when it gets back to me. I will post another picture when it is returned.

Treasures from Ati in Norway

This is a picture of the all the wonderful things I got from Ati from Norway. we are doing an international swap and Ati is my swap sister. We are swaping 4 times this year. The last swap we have to make a special gift for each other. This is really a wonderful swap. I got a beautiful calendar with the most wonderful pictures of Norway on it. A wonderful old cross stitich pattern, I just now have to figure out the color translation..LOL..beautiful fabric and a wonderful postcard showing where she lives. The area is georgous. I definitly want to go there and visit.

Treasure Box

This is a box Cover I made for Dorothy for Christmas. She can put her treasure in it for her scrapbooking. I had fun making it, The box part left something to be desired, first time doing it, so have learned much. The cat in the corner is Dorothy's cat Stinky, I embordered him using a picture. Tiny Tiny stiches, was neat it actally looks like him.
