new creations...LOL

This is a picture of one of the round robin blocks I am working on, the theme on this one is Gay Paree..I emborideried the poodle and did the seam treatments on each side of it...It was fun to make the poddle I will be practicing doing these types of things, and some day will be able to do some real thread painting.


This is a bauble bag I made, dont know if it turned out the way I thought it would, but it is my first attempt.

Oriental Bag

I finished my orential bag.. and it is ready to ship to Karen in AZ. Hope she likes it, cant wait for mine to come from her... I even put some pockets inside for her to hide goodies.

Steinbach Family Reunion

Here are some pictures of the Steinbach Family Reunion held last weekend. Every one had a great time. Lots of great food and games...We even won some wonderful prizes, thanks to Uncle Jerry and Uncle Graham.

BEARS

Well, it is bear season in the north woods...not hunting bear..bear hunting us. Yesterday a big black bear got into someones screen house (about a mile from here). Just about a half hour ago, my camper neighbor saw a 2 year old bear a block away...so we are on bear alert up here. Thank goodness we didnt shot off all the fireworks..LOL...so cross your fingers they dont find my camp a tasty treat...oh boy, I just about had a heart attack, I am sitting by the door of the tent with the window down, typing this and a chipmonk ran by, scared me...LOL...opps there he goes back the other way....wonder where he is going...hummmm... David will be home on the 26th...I will be picking him up at the airport in the cities and we will be visiting everyone there. and heading back to the falls on the 28th or 29th..will be nice to have him back home...he will be here for 3 weeks. Every one take care, dont be shy about adding a blog......

Johnson Family reunion

Here are the pictures I promised from the reunion this last weekend. Everyone had a blast. Some of the highlights are: water gun war,Vernon is the raining king..Marshmellow fight everyone had fun with this one, Orville was the one to throw the first marshmellow..we had a great potluck, with lots of food. we did a surprise 70th birthday for mom, she had no idea..we raffled off the quilt (see pics below) we earned $86 and it was donated to the local food shelf..Mom of course won it..if her name is in the drawing, she will win it...LOL..Here are some pics, of potluck, birthday, marmellow fight and a group photo..this is only half of them.LOL..
